Winter Teaching Resumes
November 30, 2016
We're happy to announce that Khenpo Tsewang Rigzin will resume his teaching this week. Khenpo will be teaching twice each week, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00pm
On Wednesdays, Khenpo will cover a variety of topics, starting with an overview of dharma terms and philosophical divisions. Whether you are just beginning to learn about Buddhism or have been studying for years, this class will be an excellent chance to sort out the key points of Buddhist philosophy. Khenpo will cover the main topics across Hinayana, Mahayana and Secret Mantra - everything from the Four Noble Truths to the Nine Yanas. We will hand out a study guide to help frame the discussion and there will be time for questions.
Thursdays will continue Khenpo's instruction and guidance on meditation. Khenpo teaches, sits with us in silent meditation and then takes questions. It's rare for a Tibetan lama of Khenpo's stature to meditate with Westerners, so this is a special opportunity for all of us.
All classes are funded by your donations, but there is no set fee and all are welcome.
