"Nagarjuna's Letter to a Friend" provides a concise and thorough introduction to
the entire Buddhist path. By examining the Four Noble Truths, Six Perfections,
12 links of dependent origination, 5 paths and 10 stages, etc. Nagarjuna
describes logically and poetically the internal patterns of experience which
lead a person to Buddhahood.
We'll be basing some of our discussion questions on the Padmakara
Group's newest translation, with commentary by Kangyur Rinpoche. The Padmakara Translation Group’s version of the text is available
directly from Snow Lion or (of course) through Amazon and other online
retailers. There's even a Kindle version!
